Crop circles

Over the festive period, the Common has been visited by the Plumstead Regional Arts Team (you can work the acronym out for yourselves). Their latest installation is a crop circle inspired piece entitled 'scumbag #1'. Merry Christmas!

Bring back the stocks and "community justice" for muppets who do things like that...
Anyway, idiots aside, have a Happy New Year!

I guess the stocks were the original 'naming and shaming' device. I'm all for it. I'd even take up gardening to grow thousands of tomatoes to throw at the dastardly villains.

Bring it on.

Totally off subject, I thought I should mention the passing of a Plumstead institution - CONMAX. Conmax the timber merchants and furniture shop has been on the high street all of my life, and the timber merchants was a fantastic shop. I didn't have much need to use the shop that often, but it was always nice to know it was there. A really decent local shop, friendly knowledgable staff, etc etc etc. Gone I'm afraid.....
